(Researcher Associated - Statistics)

Finite population sampling, Bayesian data analysis, social statistics.

Master of Science in Mathematics, Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México.

R and Python.

I am interested in solving applied problems of high social or economic impact. I think that the main virtue of statistics is its application and I consider that there is an enormous amount of official data in Mexico that has not been exploited as it should be. I firmly believe that it should be our duty as statisticians to transform those data into useful information for Mexican society.

(Research Associate-Statistics)

Construction of socio-economic indicators, non-linear regression, social statistics, and logic mathematics.

Master of Science in Mathematical Sciences, Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México.

R and Python.

I believe that statistics is our best tool when we want to unravel a little of the world we live in, and this is the idea behind my interest in delving into this area. I think that with a little effort, work and chance, we can explain many of the phenomena that surround us every day. I also like the study of symbolic logic, because I believe that we can facilitate the understanding of problems if we focus on framing them in a better way.
